Lindsey Vonn (born 18 Oct 1984) is a retired American alpine ski champion who took home gold in the downhill event at the Winter Olympics in 2010. Her rank is second to none among skiers, male and female on the basis of super scores. She is the top skier of all-time and most popular across her home country of the United States. Caroline Vonn, also known by her name Lindsey Vonn, is an American World Cup alpine racer who is a member of the US Ski Team. She has been the winner of in the total World Cup competition four times. She is an athlete who has earned a name for herself within American society. Only six women have won the five World Cup alpine ski events. The American has racked up 82 World Cup victories in total. She is one of the most skilled skiers and racers from the United States. Her retirement came after a long list of health issues. Her retirement was announced via social media. The World Championships of Downhill and SG Re Sweden will mark my final races for Re Sweden.
