Anne Frances Murphy aka Annie Murphy was born on December 19th, 1986. Her country of birth is Canada. She has done numerous films in Hollywood. Her main role was that as Alexis Rose from the CBC sitcom Schitt's Mill, the show that premiered in 2014 before ending in the year 2020. Her performance earned her high praise from critics and was also awarded the Primetime Emmy Award. Her birthplace is in the Canadian province of Ontario. The parents of her were employed as educators. Elmwood School, Ottawa is where she began performing in theater productions. Then she enrolled in Concordia University from where she pursued a degree in theatre performance. After turning 22, she relocated from Canada to Los Angeles where acting became her occupation. Annie Murphy launched her acting career when she appeared in the 2007 crime-thriller telefilm Lethal Obsession. The actress went on to play small and additional roles in several films.
