
Brianne Sidonie Desaulniers (born October 1st, 1989) is professionally known as Brie Larson is an American actress. As a teenager she was famous for supporting roles in comedies. Her career has taken her to be a leading actress in blockbuster and independent films. Larson has been recognized with numerous awards which include an Academy Award. A Golden Globe Award. Time magazine named Larson as one of the 100 most important people on the planet for 2019. Larson was admitted at age six to American Conservatory Theater's training program. Her acting career began in 1998, when she appeared in a sketch comedy on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. In 2001, she appeared as featured in the show Raising Dad. She also briefly tried out a career in music with the release of her album Finally Out Of P.E. in 2005. Larson was a supporting role in comedy film Hoot (2006) and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (2010). In 2005, she also played the role of a sardonic teen on the TV show United States of Tara (2012). Larson's breakthrough came when her character was an integral role in Short Term 12 (2013). Larson continued to reprise her supporting roles in The Spectacular in the present (2013) as well as Trainwreck (2015). Larson was nominated to win the Academy Award as Best Actress for her role as a kidnapping suspect in the dramatic Room (2015). The 2017 adventure film Kong, Skull Island was her first big-budget film. She then starred in Captain Marvel in Marvel Cinematic Universe (2019).
